Roberto Firmino

The german league is a very tricky one, if you are going to sign from that league then you had better go for the best. I am afraid this Firminio deal would turn out like when the rags signed Kagawa. I am 100% sold on KDB but this Firminio doesn't look any better than Nasri or even Lopes. Save the cash and get Isco next season when Silva's about a year older.

We don't need Firmino; De Bruyne and Sterling look set to be pushed through by the end of this month and that's all we need in an attacking midfield sense, with Lopes and potentially Pat Roberts as wildcard options from the bench. Our focus then should be on two proper central midfielders plus a centre half.

With Jovetic, Dzeko, Nasri/navas leaving Firmino will be an amazing player to have. He can easily force both kdb and sterling to the bench... good for keeping a high standard.

"stuffed full of attacking talent" and "they have bought Depay and are not sure where he will play"

Missed out on this lad obviously so wheel him out to claim that they never wanted him.

Cooper and the Rags and a match made in heaven pmsl.

Why do we feel like this ayrshire_blue?

Are we just naturally negative or just City fans who know how these things usually turn out? :-)

Ha! Probably used to be how things turned out but now it's more the natural negativity caused by the past! Take aguero for example, signed him yet some of us still worried because Liverpool bought Charlie Adam. It's in our blood mate.

If it is us who has signed him, anyone think we will still be after KDB too? If so, then Nasri has to be off.

I'm thinking he's what Liverpool have spent the sterling money on.
Don't want to announce it before the sterling deal go through
