Roberto Mancini

Mad how people prefer to defend Mancini, a man known to fall out with everybody, even Balotelli who he let get away with murder over Bridge. Yeah Bridge is a bit of a wet lettuce but he never comes across a ****, no one speaks badly of him and always seems genuine and likeable. Can imagine what he’s saying is true and if you wasn’t in Mancinis good books you’d be hung out to dry.
I'm annoyed that I've had to click on The Star to find out whats going on - what a fucking hatchet job that article is.

Manager drags country from a position of no qualification to winning the Euro's - quick find a player that he ousted for a negative perspective.

Does Wayne Bridge ever reflect and speak openly about how shite he was for the club - was that all Mancini's fault or was he just as poor playing under Leslie?

City fans defending their ex Manager who they still adore over an ex player who HATES him for basically fuckall he did to him.

Yep thats a strange one mate.

The standard of the tournament is THE standard; you can't detract from the achievement of winning the fuckin' tournament!
It detracts from your otherwise cogent anti-Mancini stance to damn him with even fainter praise on the basis that, even though he was the the very best of the tournament, he wasn't really that good, because the others - including Ronaldo, KDB, multiple great Frenchmen - were crap. They weren't. There were several great matches.
That argument, with all due respect my friend, is just bollox. And Italy dumped Belgium ( No.1 team in the world), Spain and England, in the end!
You win the world cup, and the next best is the Euro's. Mancini won it from a terrible position - going behind to England's dream start of an early goal. And, without possibly his most influential player who snapped his achilles tendon in a previous game.
A lot of us with no agenda against him, and most neutrals I believe, will say, "Wow! That was a great achievement" irrespective of any historic shit, or rumours of his methods, at City.
Italy did it the hard way playing Spain, England and Belgium, playing an excellent brand of football that you don’t associate with Italian sides. If England had been as adventurous as Italy we probably would have won the tournament. Machini love him or hate him you can’t deny he has done a stellar job with that side.

Am I the only person around here who doesn't have a weird hatred of Chappie?
I don't either. Not sure why anyone would really, if you didn't like his city t.v bits I wouldn't have watched them, otherwise he was just the kit man.
