Has anybody stopped to think Milner's good display today was down to bobby keeping him hungry?

His decision to play kolorov today, paid dividends, putting micah in ahead of nasty paid dividends, aguero coming on from the bench paid dividends, my personal opinion, is that bobby is showing the rest of the premiership managers, and even a certain Mr Ranieri and Mr benitez, how to rotate a squad and not fuck it up.

People are quick to pummel the manager when things are amiss, i'd like to praise the man for a job well done, not just today, but since his arrival.

I think today was more about fixing the problem RM aluded to in his post match interview.
Back to 4-3-2-1 and relying on the players from last year, IMO was the change required and I know was many of the posters on here preferred tactics and it paid dividends. You don't change what isn't broken.

Maybe, but I still think a big issue Mancini has as a manager is his man managment skills.

He is not the type to put his arms around you and praise you, sometimes he can be too critical.

And what about another underwhelming performance by Mario? Is that not down to Bob as well then?

Nasty had a strain and wasn't available to start but I won't draw too many straws here.

He hasn't played Milner enough although the extent of his turf toe ( that's the medical term ) is never made clear.

In fact one thing that really pisses me off about the Premier League is the timing and reporting of injuries and the selected side itself.

Its crap compared to the AFL and NFL just to name two examples.

Last season, jimmy had a few stinkers. I'm not going to deny that. I only hope he can keep it up if he stays in the team.

For me when he plays midfield and that is very rarely he is always an 8/10 performance, the problem is he rarely gets a chance in his BEST position!

Teams like Sunderland for me he should start midfield every time..
