i think it's just a case of if a class player becomes available on the market then we will be interested, whether it's an essential purchase or not. imo RVP will make City better.

I know that he will want to prove he is the best, but he will not be used to rotation and that may not be to his liking. He isn't coming to sit on the bench and with us having Aguero, Balotelli and one of Carlos / Dzeko it will be difficult to them all in for some consistent playing time.

No. Just pointing out than unlike lots of the conjecture on here, videos, other itk stuff, I actually have heard of Roberto Mancini. So while he may be bluffing, at least what he has said could be taken at face value. We will see.

Just irritates me that people assume it's simple to keep our current 4 and also what exactly do they expect Bob to say when asked that question.

Tevez and Bob may well still completely despise each other and I'd be very surprised if Dzeko wants to stay seeing as he knows he'll be down the pecking order at City.

Just as well. The only way we could play 70 games in a season is by intentionally taking every FA Cup game to a replay. Otherwise there's not that many games in the calendar.

Mancini was pretty insistent. There were NO weasel words for future wriggle room...
"Both Dzeko and Tevez will stay at City. We are a great team and we try to keep all our great players. It won't be easy but they will stay here."

As I and others have said, RVP is too old, is injury prone and will have no resale value. Any price in excess of £10m for RVP is ridiculous. My bet is the only way he will come us us is for nothing at the end of the coming season.
