The only reason you are hearing Bacon face is putting a bid in for ALL the top players is to help the sales of shares in the US. End of me thinks.

What is he using for readies? Deposit returns?

UNITED ARE BROKE, PEOPLE

Do people actually believe this or is it something we say on Bluemoon to actually make us fell better?

They spent over 50 million plus last summer plus Smalling and have spent 20 million this summer already plus having a 30 million bid accepted for Hazard.

As you say, Spent 50 mil last year. Spent 20 mil this year that leaves 10 mil bid for Hazard not 30, as they only got 8o mil for Ronaldo. Not a pot to piss in.!!

United always have money to spend because their debts are serviced by their giant revenue. United have spent more than us now in the past three transfer windows haven't they? If not it must be close and signing Lucas for £30million+ will take them past us in money spent in the past three windows. But it's us trying to buy success, that will be "investing in the future".

So your saying the bid they had accepted for Hazard was 10 million? Therefore I suppose they have only bid 10 million for Moura and RVP then. Life loves an optimist.

We should still get more than 90 points with the team we have now. If they get more than that they'll deserve it. They won't though. With or without vP.

No, what I am trying to say is that they are not really bidding for anyone in my view as I think it’s just a ploy to gain credibility in selling shares in the US, I just don’t think they have a large transfer kitty and from what I glean they can’t pay the wages these sold called players they are in for will demand.

Just my belief.

Well I hope your right, but I would be surprised, if say Hazard had decided to join them United would have pulled out. This would prove far more damaging to the clubs credibility than just saying you are happy with the squad. Also I am not a huge businessman but I would have though corporate Joe in America would be more interested in the books, profits etc than the bidding for a Brazilian kid most football fans haven't even heard of.

Saying that United are skint is just plain rubbish. Their revenue alone is massive and can only be compared to the likes of Barca and Real Madrid.

They may have been quiet in the past transfer seasons but Baconface isn't stupid. He knows when a threat comes around, and like it or not we are a threat to them. THEY WILL SPEND IF NEEDED. I think the best way we can go from here is if we get some signings in as well to make a statement to the PL that we won't give up the title that easy.

Signing RVP would be a start, but only if Mancini and the board agree to release a striker in our squad

They will be relying on the 659 billion clueless fans around the galaxy to buy them shares. Not corporate joe.
