I see fergie's playing the mind games/propaganda campaign in the media again. "United are the team to beat."
Trying to convince RVP the future PL champs are there rather than us.

Juve can't afford him according to them.

We don't need him.

United probably can't afford him. But do need him. But are they going to win stuff? After all that's his reason for leaving Arsenal.

Milan? Well they need someone to replace Ibra. But would VP want to go to Italy?

Not easy to work out his destination I have to admit. Chelsea might be an option.

Not easy to work out his destination? It's fucking simple mate. He'll be playing for City by the start of season. United aren't even interested.

In his head "only" they are.

Utd are the team to beat, and we did it - home and away - last season.

The king is dead..........

Looks like our interest is real after all, though I'm not 100% convinced.

I'd make Juve favourites, followed by Utd. Forget all the rubbish about Utd's finances. They can't not afford to spend as they must continue to be competitive on the pitch for their business model to work. And for Utd, they are beginning to look threadbare up front.

Apparently he is finding the the United appraoch very appealing - AF very involved and VDS has been turning him. Heard this yesterday from someone connected with BCS.
If this is the case we are going to need Khaldoon, the Sheikh and a lot of money to turn him back.
No offence Mr Marwood but we need some gravitas

Because Arsenal will be reluctant to sell to City or Utd, and RVP may not want to deal with the bad blood that Nasri and Adebayor have had to put up with

Also Utd's need for a striker is more than ours.

RVP would be an automatic starter at Utd and Juve. He wouldn't be here, and he would not be the main man

We need Adebayor out the door as well

I think RVP is man enough to take titles and trophies over bad blood. He's in a lose-lose situation with Arsenal fans wherever he goes.

United are after that Moura kid from Brazil,Ferguson in his own words today has said they need a left back,so its Baines.

They wont be buying three players, they have enough upfront for my money as it is.

A guy on my Facebook who I used to go school with who also used to play for united youth teams has just put on his Facebook that van Persie is having a medical at united, he said he's heard off people at united, probably bullshit but thought I'd say.

Tom punch your friend in the face for being stupid :)

Sorry if already posted but..
From the Mirror who gave us that 'exclusive' the other day:

It is understood that United's bid is way short and is not even near the figure of £15m because they will be reluctant to pay big money for a player who turns 29 in August and has a patchy injury record.

Most likely offered around £9m or £10m on the drip, sounds about right for them, Spurs will come in and offer £4m soon enough.

@BBCSport: Read the full Robin van Persie exclusive (Arsenal receive three bids received for Arsenal striker) here http://t.co/o29y35RA

Bids from us, Juve, Mufc - he's not going on tour
