What about the fact that RVP is 29 and other than last season, as injury prone as Craig Bastard Bellamy. I wouldn't offer Arsenal the earth for him.

He's 28 and having never been blessed with great pace he should have at least 4 top years left (thats 16 competions worth btw).

Arsenal relied on him 100% and as a result played him when he wasn't fully fit, complicating his injuries. This wouldn't be a concern for us with plenty of attacking options.

Last years player of the season, 30 premier league goals and half this forum don't want him, strange!
