Comments (0) Add to My Stories Brazil defender Luisao, 28, looks like being the next big-name arrival at Manchester City, following a recommendation from Robinho.

Benfica’s centre back hopes to complete a £15million move this summer.

‘Robinho is a good friend, and the prospect of playing alongside him at club level, as
well as for Brazil, is very appealing,’ he said.
Robinho said: ‘He is a great player and a good professional, and I know he will strengthen our team

always reference your sources if you want credibility:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1184333/Robinho-Benficas-Brazilian-Luisao-shore-Citys-shaky-defence.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... fence.html</a>

As they are actual quotes and I don't see the Daily Mail voluntarily going for a lawsuit from both Benfica as well as City, I believe this is true. As long as the clubs agree etc.

I never had huge faith in brazilian defenders though, but he is a big name..should be good.

edit: although, their first related item is the 'Ireland: ' my future at city is in doubt'' piece - how misleading can a title be?

Loves ruffing up Red Bastards
The hatred is there, sign him up, need a another michael ball style tackle on derby day. Lets end sum Scum bag players careers, get some own back for Alfi Harland.
o yeh baby !!!

i had a flick through the news nows before as well. tbh we are linked with quite a few v good players, realistic targets, forlan, luasio, elia to name a few. dont know about you but id be more than happy to get them in. i think a cheeky bid for diego wouldnt go a miss considering raniery's bin sacked as well.

Maybe the defence wouldn't be as shaky if he tracked back now and then.

He does. Well, did.

But he gave that many dangerous freekicks away, I think Hughes might have told him to just stay in the opposition half lol.
