Right, I disagree with everyone that says Robinho can't be bothered away from home and that he doesn't care about the club, is just here for the money etc etc etc. I think he does care, he wants City to do well and be successful. From what I can see, Robinho isn't really doing anything differently in away games than he does in home games - but I think that's precisely the problem.

In away games Robinho is still trying to put together silky moves, tricky little passes and so on, but they hardly ever come off away from home like they often do at COMS.

So my point is, I think we should drop the likes of Robinho and certainly Elano away from home but we shouldn't paint Robinho to be some sort of nanchalant villain who couldn't give a toss about the club and isn't trying his best for us. It's just that at the moment, his style of play does not fit in with how we should be playing away from home.

We shouldn't be playing players if they're detrimental to our success just because we paid a large fee for them or they're on big wages. Ever heard of cutting your nose off to spite your face? Plus, we are also in the very privileged position of not having to worry about our finances at the moment so lets take full advantage of that situation. We CAN afford to keep players like Robinho on the bench if the situation requires it.

seeing as we have a squad of such amazing depth, especially with injuries factor in, who'd you have gone with if you sat robinho? do tell, this ought to be interesting.

Yeah, you're right; let's bring back Vass and Fernandes. Them pair really got the midfield ticking over nicely in the first half of the season!!
