Robinho on showboat

Hypothesis: As part of City's continual development, their is an instruction to the team management and players to play with flair, skills, to 'showboat'.

City's executive management has outstanding expertise in sports marketing. If you want to build the dream team, you'd probably want to attract fans/ customers with the most attractive style of football. Good skills look pretty good on TV in a bar in Beijing, right?

You can almost imagine a conversation? 'Tell them to play like they do in the Pepsi adverts, Sparky'. Samba style, boyos!

The one thing that worries me is that some player is going to go right through Robinho one day and could cause a serious injury. As time goes on he's going to be a marked man and defenders will only take a certain amount of piss taking before deciding to do something about it. Yes they might get a yellow but we'll be left with a crocked player. Players like Ronaldo are built bigger and can withstand a few hard tackles. So far we haven't seen any on Robby but it does concern me a little as it should every blue.

Tugay was a disgrace, and then had the cheek to say he got the ball.

Yes, once he had crashed threw the back of Robinho's ankles.
