Big interview with Robinho in The Sun today.

Can't find the link, as yet.

Robbie - "I am sure the owners' objective is to buy a super team this summer. It's up to the owners but from what I hear there has been some interesting contact with superstars."

Pretty sure Robbie is in the loop, as he was previously for Kaka.

Just to clear up the breaking of transfer records which I posted on here yesterday.

From what I understand the current record is £47.5m for Zidane.

The four attempted signings will go upwards of that until the ceiling of Kaka.

This does not take into account the breaking of any British transfer record (current Robbie) during same period.

thanks that is clear. how confident are you that these signing will all come off.

If you're asking me personally, think just like the Mounties, we'll get our man!

Anyone who knows football, will also appreciate situations change very quickly. As we saw with Kaka last time around.

This time, nothing is being left to chance.

Robbie's comments about superstars certainly do not lend themselves to names such as 'Santa Cruz and Crouch'.

lol im willing to guess record breakers are...kaka...villa..ibrahimvic....maaybe aguero

???? any clues tolmie

the world transfer record is based of the exchange rate when the pound was strong now its not we maybe seeing bid that we think are bigger than the Zidane value quoted above but it may not be to much more in todays Euro prices

what currency is the world record measured?

so basically you think we are going for 4 £50 million plus players .......... sounds interesting if the club can pull if off
