Looking at what has happened since he left, did we see the best of his mercurial talent at City?

He could've been a world beater, did well in spells for us, but largely has done rock all since.

Too much too soon? Much like Adriano and the likes.

Forgive me I've had an ale or 5, but I honestly think while too good for us at the time, he's not really progressed since either.

Him in our team on the left now would off caused havoc!!!

Him then or balotelli??

Or Balotelli now? Robinho is 28 now, his star has faded dramatically, so I'd go for the on or off Mario for a few years at least.

Was a talent, came here with the spot light on him, big expectations and healf heartedly delivered imo. A star player in a mediocre team. Might have been better if he had equal class to play with.

Watched him last week in a rare start for Milan he did ok but looked like he was diving all over the floor at times. Nige played his usual role and with his usual steel really miss that guy :(

agree with the above, Mancini wouldn't play him... Robinho helped set the ball rolling and brought some spark and ptrofile to the team... He's welcome back anytime he likes. he just won't play.

Wouldn't stand out in today's team. i believe Ballo has more skill, just requires application
