Rochdale v. Mini-me Rags

did you know that in the 1st Round referees get paid £310 per match, and from the 3rd Rd it's £375. Their expenses are covered and they get half their match fee even if a match is postponed/abandoned etc.

Any visiting team can have up to 15% allocation, which as our ground is about 48,000 would be about 7,200.

The draw is also FIFA regulated.

ffs

If United drew FC there would be as much trouble as when we would play them.

I know more than a few United 'lads' and they despise FC with all their heart.

Just check out what happened when FC played Salford City if you want an idea of the feeling against them is from the staunch reds.

To be fair M27, the trouble at Salford was organised, and had more to do with "turf wars" involving "business men" than it had to do with football.

I'll tell you the full story some time...

Just got back in from Dale.. who were absolutely appalling.

The plastic rags probably deserved their win, but their fans did nothing to change my mind of them.

Outside the chippy, got talking to one of then... "So what's with the green and yellow scarf?"

"It's a porotest against the Glazers"

"What?" I exclaimed..."they've taken over your lot as well?"

"No... it's a protest to get them out of United"

"But I thoiught you were an FC fan?"

"I am, but we need to get the Glazers out"

"Will you go back once the Glazers have gone?"

"Yeah..."

"So what hapen to FC United when you all go back to Old Trafford? Won't the club just die..."

"Nah, some will stay with the team because they love it so much"

"So why are the council spending £3m on a new ground if the club might not exist in a couple of years?"

"Erm..."

They pretend to have "soul" when in reality they are the most soul-less, plastic, manufactured support in existence. It's like going to a Gary Glitter or Status Quo Christmas gig where all the nobs sing along like sheep, faking it that they're really having a great time...

They say they don't care if they lose... that's right... because they really don't care at all about their team. It's just a night out, getting pissed and lording it over smaller clubs.

I reckon Andy Walsh is actually crapping it should the Glazers ever leave... he's on a right nice little earner as it stands...

I'm intrigued. I fell out with my 'contacts' at FC at least a couple of years ago so I didn't have the inside track on that game. However, young scrotes running on the pitch every ten minutes.......was this a 'security' issue? Anyway, you out Wednesday? You can fill me in then.

As for the rest of your post; brilliant, sums it up really.

How can people who start a new club be soul-less, People that just think I'll start watching/supporting this or that club, they must by definition be less.

Soulboy- you really need to get a grip and let it go fella.. FC Utd really do appear to have got under your skin. So now their fans have no " soul" because you spoke to a few outside a chippy. Fuck me, like every City fan is a dyed in the wool time served true blue. YCMMIU
concentrate on Wednesday fella against your proper rivals and forget about the non league team up the road even if they actually get under your skin. Quite funny really, especially considering blues on
other sites were actually complimentary about the support etc. If only ALL football could be played in those types of atmospheres. Go in, you know you want to admit it.
