If United drew FC there would be as much trouble as when we would play them.
I know more than a few United 'lads' and they despise FC with all their heart.
Just check out what happened when FC played Salford City if you want an idea of the feeling against them is from the staunch reds.
To be fair M27, the trouble at Salford was organised, and had more to do with "turf wars" involving "business men" than it had to do with football.
I'll tell you the full story some time...
Just got back in from Dale.. who were absolutely appalling.
The plastic rags probably deserved their win, but their fans did nothing to change my mind of them.
Outside the chippy, got talking to one of then... "So what's with the green and yellow scarf?"
"It's a porotest against the Glazers"
"What?" I exclaimed..."they've taken over your lot as well?"
"No... it's a protest to get them out of United"
"But I thoiught you were an FC fan?"
"I am, but we need to get the Glazers out"
"Will you go back once the Glazers have gone?"
"Yeah..."
"So what hapen to FC United when you all go back to Old Trafford? Won't the club just die..."
"Nah, some will stay with the team because they love it so much"
"So why are the council spending £3m on a new ground if the club might not exist in a couple of years?"
"Erm..."
They pretend to have "soul" when in reality they are the most soul-less, plastic, manufactured support in existence. It's like going to a Gary Glitter or Status Quo Christmas gig where all the nobs sing along like sheep, faking it that they're really having a great time...
They say they don't care if they lose... that's right... because they really don't care at all about their team. It's just a night out, getting pissed and lording it over smaller clubs.
I reckon Andy Walsh is actually crapping it should the Glazers ever leave... he's on a right nice little earner as it stands...
