The best result from this election is the fact that Clegg and the LibDems have lost their deposit. I hope they get obliterated in May.

Marvellous news isn't it that the third party in British politics, which has traditionally dragged the big two towards the centre ground, is about
to be smashed and replaced by a bunch of racist fascists who want to abolish the NHS?

Not for me it isn't.

Simply repeating the same untruth over and again doesn't work. Do try to keep up; even State Media are having second thoughts about that tactic.

Great to hear that someone hung an England flag on the millionaire multiple property owning mother of 3 privately educated kids' £2 million Islington townhouse today!

Up t'people's party! They stand up for t'working man.
Aye, the local sink comprehensive is not for the offspring of this fat hypocrite, apparently they are ferried to a much better class of educational establishment 15 miles away. Local schools are only for those working class types.

Ive been living in Rochester last year or so - the campaigning by UKIP has been unbelievable - See little old men with funny hats and UKIP rosette's standing at the corner of really random roads where hardly anyone goes down. serious effort by some old folks round there.

Any sign o' Dave Broken Leg?

Still the penny teeters on the edge rather than drops with the main parties, they cling on to the idea that come the GE people will revert to a pattern that has seen them in power if only they now make a few more empty promises.
What they still fail to see is middle England has not only woke up, but take a great deal of pleasure seeing the political elite with real fear in their eyes as they backtrack on previously held positions.

Labour now want to talk about immigration, yet anyone who even dared suggest such a thing a few years ago was branded a racist (And of course they want people to forget who it was who allowed and encouraged mass immigration for their own political ends). With the old standby of defend the NHS from "Privatization" falling flat on its face due to the PFI scandal enacted under the last labour government.

The Conservatives can take little comfort as they blunder along seemingly powerless to address any of the issues, and getting caught trying to spin things like the £1.7m bill from the EU, not forgetting a lot of the damage done by the last government is also on the toes of an opposition that did little if anything to try and prevent it.

This is NOT just a few disillusioned Tory voters having a meaningless pop at a serving government, the smug look that labour had on its face got wiped off as it becomes clear that their core voters are also voting UKIP in significant numbers. What happens next GE could be very interesting.....................;0)

The immigration issue is arguably an even bigger factor in some labour heartlands in the North. UKIP were originally seen by some as a threat mainly to the Tory vote. They aren't.

Totally agree, the 3 main parties have all been caught out and are now like rabbits caught in the headlights.

Carswell is a rabid right wing libertarian, he's very pro immigration, rabidly anti EU, he's all for "weak go the wall capitalism" red in tooth and claw. Yet Reckless runs to Westminster to hold back the tide of privatisation. Farage tells us he supports the working class, but wants deeper cuts and god knows what else, as he freely admits, he forgets what's in his manifesto.

They're right wing fruit cakes who suck up votes from the disenchanted, the racists, the right wing fruit loops and the moronic.

So the film of Farage saying that we no longer could afford the NHS and should look at an American style Insurance Scheme was faked was it?
He can back track all he likes, he isn't the cheery beer drinking, cig smoking, man of the people bloke he appears. His main support
traditionally has come from the extreme right wing of the Tory Party. He represents their view of a low spending, low taxation economy
with strong xenophobic tendencies. It's an indictment of how unpopular and out of touch all three main parties are that he's become so
popular. Now that he has a sniff of real electoral success he's trying to come across as more moderate than he really is. Why are extreme
right wing Tory MPs defecting to him if that isn't the case?

Why are core Labour voters defecting to them? last night they switched in droves, they switched in droves in Middleton and Heywood and if UKIP would have put more effort in to it instead of all into Clacton they would have won that as well, Labour have very smelly underpants this morning
