The best result from this election is the fact that Clegg and the LibDems have lost their deposit. I hope they get obliterated in May.

Marvellous news isn't it that the third party in British politics, which has traditionally dragged the big two towards the centre ground, is about
to be smashed and replaced by a bunch of racist fascists who want to abolish the NHS?

Not for me it isn't.
Hahahahahabbbwaaaahhhh, I can smell the little drops of poo in your keks from here socialist boy, your cosy little left wing, liberal/socialist cartel is coming apart at the seams, the people have sussed you out; hahahahahahahaha

In my time I've voted for all 3 main parties (and predecessors like the SDP).
At the last General Election I voted Conservative, as I did when Major was leader, but never when that right wing nut job Thatcher was in charge.
I generally vote Lib Dem but have stopped because of their anti Trident stance.
I stopped voting Labour when that idiot Foot was elected leader and they went unilateralist.
I'd say my politics are pretty middle of the road wouldn't you?

Still the penny teeters on the edge rather than drops with the main parties, they cling on to the idea that come the GE people will revert to a pattern that has seen them in power if only they now make a few more empty promises.
What they still fail to see is middle England has not only woke up, but take a great deal of pleasure seeing the political elite with real fear in their eyes as they backtrack on previously held positions.

Labour now want to talk about immigration, yet anyone who even dared suggest such a thing a few years ago was branded a racist (And of course they want people to forget who it was who allowed and encouraged mass immigration for their own political ends). With the old standby of defend the NHS from "Privatization" falling flat on its face due to the PFI scandal enacted under the last labour government.

The Conservatives can take little comfort as they blunder along seemingly powerless to address any of the issues, and getting caught trying to spin things like the £1.7m bill from the EU, not forgetting a lot of the damage done by the last government is also on the toes of an opposition that did little if anything to try and prevent it.

This is NOT just a few disillusioned Tory voters having a meaningless pop at a serving government, the smug look that labour had on its face got wiped off as it becomes clear that their core voters are also voting UKIP in significant numbers. What happens next GE could be very interesting.....................;0)

The immigration issue is arguably an even bigger factor in some labour heartlands in the North. UKIP were originally seen by some as a threat mainly to the Tory vote. They aren't.

Carswell is a rabid right wing libertarian, he's very pro immigration, rabidly anti EU, he's all for "weak go the wall capitalism" red in tooth and claw. Yet Reckless runs to Westminster to hold back the tide of privatisation. Farage tells us he supports the working class, but wants deeper cuts and god knows what else, as he freely admits, he forgets what's in his manifesto.

They're right wing fruit cakes who suck up votes from the disenchanted, the racists, the right wing fruit loops and the moronic.
That's what Cameron said, fruit loops, he looks very silly today, hes got a grimace on his shiny face like a grizzly bears trying to fuck him

cosy little left wing, liberal/socialist cartel is coming apart at the seams]

Ah! A moron! I rest my case...

The third party that has morals or principles..... Hmmmm.

The only reason they climbed into bed with Conservatives was to appease Cleggs vanity, he wanted a big job in British Politics and this was the only way he'd get it. He wanted to be deputy PM (a job which he has done relatively unnoticed) and he got it.

Sold out their supporters big time.

"They're right wing fruit cakes who suck up votes from the disenchanted, the racists, the right wing fruit loops and the moronic".....................Are you Emily Thornberry MP by any chance ?.

I'm telling the truth. If you don't want to believe me that's your prerogative.

In answer to the earlier question why are Labour voters defecting in droves? The answer is Farage is trying to be all things
to all men and in fairness thus far he's succeeding. I remember filling in an online questionnaire round about the time of the last
Euro elections. It was something like where do you stand on different issues and asked 20 questions. I filled it in and it came out
"You are a UKIP voter". Well no I'm not but if UKIP are promising to cut taxes (probably true) and increase benefit (lies) and
defence spending (who knows but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) then they're going to get the gullible to support them.
If they ever got power there would be a lot more back tracking than Nick Clegg did over tuition fees!

Indeed. It's also surprising to know countless thousands of one time labour supporters are now viewed as disenchanted, right wing fruit loops and are, apparently all morons.
