Long story short- Today I was at the Finglands garage Wilmslow Road junction Platt Lane. Downstairs is all mirrors and someone explained that it used to be a top notch car show room, (Bauer and Millet ?) hence the mirrors.
This re-kindled a story I heard years ago when Rodney Marsh 'borrowed' a top of the range sports car. I seem to recall that he was told in no uncertain terms to return the car or else.
Can anyone shed any light on this ?
