Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

I've just seen footage of Rodri walking about at Barcelona airport. That would seem odd for such a serious injury, unless the video is false.

Many people are able to walk or even run after an ACL tear. It really doesn't mean anything unfortunately.

The only hope I have is that he walked onto the pitch at full time. That would be unusual as if an ACL as his leg would have swollen up making that impossible. Will know soon enough
When an ACL actually snaps, you can normally walk straight afterwards.
It a tear that keeps giving pain and swelling later on.
His face said it all for me. I'm just hoping for the best, and if not we deal with it.

Don’t know if this has been commented on elsewhere but the slow-mo footage from behind the goal shows clearly Party raise his hands and push Rodri sideways as they both move towards the corner flag.

This was not a coming together or an unfortunate landing. It was a piece of shithousery. Party almost certainly didn't intend a season-threatening injury, but he took the risk with Rodri's knee.

Apart from anything else it should have been a penalty.

More seriously, it is difficult to argue that Rodri was not deliberately targeted. That much was suggested by the evidence of the first three seconds.

Arsenal really are a bunch of cunts.

Massive blow if true but writing the whole season off on the basis of one player getting injured is the kind of headloss I expect to see from Arsenal fans. Everyone around the club, fans included, needs to try hold it together.
