On the one hand, it's a shame because I think he's got all the talent to be a top quality centre-back but if it reduces the chances of Pep picking Gundogan as anything other than a lone defensive midfielder then it'll be a blessing in disguise.

Are you certain the balance between physical prep, tactic, rest etc is optimal ?

Are players in good mental dispositions to face all the challenges ahead of them ?
