Not noticed him being particularly slow. Mops up well and keeps the ball. What I have noticed, is him giving the ball to once creative players who now can no longer control the ball or turn.

Why would you compare him to Yaya.? Yaya didn't play in the DM role.He is no yaya

He's very slow to be fair. Good player but not good at covering ground when teams counter. Can't see how that can ever change unfortunately.

Takes too many touches. Needs to move the ball forwards much faster.
Annoyingly, I could have swore the one thing most of us were impressed with initially was how quickly he was moving the ball forwards.

Walking wounded,he was great before injury,he hasn't suddenly become a bad player
Top player, very happy we signed him. It's normal for a youngish player from another country and league to go through difficult moments in England. Bernardo wasn't an instant hit either, same with many other players.

Agree. Also think he's getting caught way too high up the pitch at times and needs to chose when to press better
