Have they said anything about Jesus’ game time? Can’t see him getting many minutes with Maguire potentially coming inProblem with this as a signing is that it stops Foden getting game time as some pundits have pointed out

Not real pundits.Problem with this as a signing is that it stops Foden getting game time as some pundits have pointed out
I know. Why we keep buying players who play in his position, I will never know.
Not real pundits.
I really don't think any new signing will be announced at the kit launch. When has that ever happened?
Never. It’s a marketing disaster that limits exposure to no benefit at all but that doesn’t stop fans persisting with this idea.
Two biggest and easiest marketing opportunities in football is player acquisitions and kit launches, yet some people convince themselves our very expensive, experienced, professional marketing team would decide to screw themselves over and combine them.
Same as Fernandinho has prevented game time for Foden this season I gather. Presumably Maguire will also prevent Foden from playing. Have you ever heard of positions in a football team?Problem with this as a signing is that it stops Foden getting game time as some pundits have pointed out

Cnut lolThere are time you go fishing and all you can catch is a cold, other times however..........
You almost got me! Haha,Problem with this as a signing is that it stops Foden getting game time as some pundits have pointed out
I can remember the days when a title win was a marketing godsend m, never mind a double !!!!
These days however, totally ignored....
For the impact, I'd sign them both....Never. It’s a marketing disaster that limits exposure to no benefit at all but that doesn’t stop fans persisting with this idea.

You would announce the players, in the old kit, rather than wait a week or two & put them in the new one ?
Why ?
Because what clothes the players are wearing in their announcement photo is a relatively insignificant detail and announcing the signing should be the priority?

Llorente has been confirmed by Atletico and has taken Rodri's number.
John Stones cagoule was a Nike product and I bet they sold shitloads after that interview. So if puma can get the new signings in one of their trackie tops it might sell a few of themNo I would have them in some generic city range clothing, think the John stones cagoule, or even just their normal clothes and a scarf and then they can pose in the new kit as and when. Presenting them in a new kit does absolutely nothing extra so why would they wait to do it and lose out on marketing exposure as I said in my previous post?
New signing in a new kit gets the same amount of interest as new signing in old kit. kit launch with unannounced player gets marginally more interest than kit launch without announcement but half’s the exposure time if done separately. There’s a reason it never happens, it’s a business, and like any business, marketing is key. the more you’re in the news the more popular you become.
Why do you think city announce contract extensions separately? They could easily have announced walker and zinchenko together last week but they were a day apart, why? Because it maximises exposure and this is exactly the same principle
