At the end of the day, it of my opinion that Manchester City as the club we are now cannot wait around for players to turn good. We are not a Spurs or a Brighton where you have 4,5, or 6 project players.

We can have a few of these types of players and we will give these up and coming players chances and opportunities, but it is up to the talent relinquish that opportunity.

It is evident that we need something more potent on the wings whilst on the side giving the opportunity to a Savio, Bobb or Doku.

Look at PSG, they have Doue and Barcola as the projects, but they also have Kvara and Dembele as the established.

Indeed, but we're still limited by available squad places.
 
If he scores the winner against the rags I might just forgive him for what he did to us in the CL

Doku and Sav are still young. They have the tools, just need that consistent decision making.
I speak to dippers, Villa and rag fans and they don’t like it when Dok is playing. If I’m honest, imagine if he was playing against Nunes or Lewis. I’d be shitting it.

Don’t think he’s prolific enough. Only reached 10 goals in the league once and that’s in the best team in the world. Yes he’s scored some big goals in the CL, but Madrid are wired differently when it comes to the champions league.

How does being Brazilian helps him when he doesn’t even play like one ? Just because u win multiple champions leagues you are a must have ? He is by far the weakest out of Mbappe , vini and him. Even in the national team he doesn’t do anything and he plays behind the striker.
Nowhere a 100M player .
 
The only two players I'd want from that Madrid team are Valverde and Rodrigo.

He's got heaps of skill, can play anywhere across the front three and by all accounts has a great attitude. And still only 24.

Basically the exact profile of player I think we should be looking at signing and I doubt Real Madrid would be expecting an astronomical fee either.

His experience and age make this an exciting signing in my opinion. His numbers aren't exceptional but he has always played second fiddle and puts a shift in. At 24 he could be about to explode into a world class talent. If there's a deal to be done this makes a lot of sense to me.

We need a big name signing or two and this would be a decent shout in my opinion
€100m is about £85m.
So we could probably get him for €80m plus add ons (£70m rising to £85).
He would then still have sell in value in a few years
I think he’d be a perfect pep player
 
he's a very good player that can play across the front line and provides so many options. That said we have Savinho, Doku, Bobb, Marmoush and Foden occupying the wide postions. Rodrygo joining leaves us overloaded unless there are plans for loans/ transfers or some of the players will be more central

He is an upgrade on Sav and Dok
 
The pushing out is starting. Madrid papers saying he’s a problem in the team as Madrid look better with Guler in midfield

He gets his share of goals, think he's scored 31 in all competitions over the past 2 seasons. The number of goals he's scored in the CL is outstanding for a wide player, something like 25 goals in just over 60 games.
 
Liverpool would be daft not to go all out for this move, LW is screaming out for someone
