Bit of a miserable bugger but he got us to the League Cup final in 74. I wasn't too bothered when he left, but we've had a lot worse since Ron.

I was a match going supporter when he was appointed. He wanted to clear out the wasters but wasn’t given the chance to do that so instead he was sacked and went to Villa where he was very successful.
