Rooney and the freedom of Derby

Embarrassing.
18 wins from 65 games.
Derby finished 6th, 6th again then 10th in Cocu final season though he was sacked after 11 games the season after with them bottom after just 11 games though thry were just 3 points behind 21st place.
Then he over as manager and took them from 24th to 21st and somehow avoided taking them down on the final day ( mostly due to Rotherham having to play so often in a short space of time)
Then finished 23rd and relegated.

The only way the Freedom of Derby is worth anything is if it extends into the county of Derbyshire, where I'm confident that many of the fine days out will be far too sophisticated for Shredded Wheat to handle. He's essentially been given a National Trust membership, and a free ticket to take his elderly girlfriends to stately homes.
