He is a quality player, he was a bit dissapointing in the Egypt friendly but I'd say he's England's best striker.
Of course there'll be one or two on here who will say he's shit just because he plays for the rags...

He's having a brilliant season.
He plays without fear, can be a footballers biggest asset.
personally I would love to have him in our side, guaranteed loads of goals.
Puts in a lot of work for the team too.

The last 8 games United have played without Rooney they have won. I can understand people being bitter towards United but the whole 'one man team' thing has been going on for near 20 years, with various players. And it's just as true now as it was with Cantona, or Keane, or RvN (for people of a slower disposition I'm saying it's not)
Rooney is world class, but saying he's better than Messi is debatable.
Saying he's Uniteds only good player is a massive exaggeration. Evra is probably the best left back in the world, Vidic is in that tier also, as well as a few others. They're here to stay for a while unfortunate as that may be.
wooney is having a the best season of his life and truly is awesome at the moment... noone can debate that... but if he is the best player in the world is debatable... i rank him in the top 5 players in the world... not sure he is the best but maybe the world cup will help to decide that

There's so many tbh.... Rooney isn't even the best striker in the league imo. Drogba and Torres are better than him. Torres has gone through injury hel this season, and hes playing with a bunch of average players.
