Thats all he needs to do mate, imagine having a dead ball merchant that guarantees accuracy every time you are set on goal, from anywhere on the pitch within reason? now don't get me wrong as it's a pain in the arse for the opposition but has been shown to be deadly for joke, wether you have a golden right/left foot or Rory Delap, it's all good for progression for your team, you play to your strengths.

agreed, he miss kicked a ball yesterday and i shouted at him without the throw ins you're useless, he then committed a foul throw.

Nicks 5 - 10 yds on throw ins when ball goes out of play just inside opposition half..
Refs never pick this up.
Makes all the difference as can then deliver the ball into middle of area....horrible!

He drives me fucking mad, that's what he does. I cannot understand why referees allow him to spend 30+ seconds for EACH throw-in with his pathetic antics of drying the ball with a towel.

He's 34 and offers nothing except the throw-in. If he couldn't missile throw, he'd be in the Championship at best. Poor player.

for me thats why dejong had a quiet game cos of the long ball shit that they play, couldnt watch there crap football if it was only 50 quid a season. fancy avin a player on the picth every week just to take throwins, terrible.

It was on the Zonal Marking abit ago that he really does actually do better from throw-ins then successful passes.
