Yeah I'd take Barkley over Delph anyday of the week, but he won't come here
I think he's "here" already, posting in this thread ;o)Yeah I'd take Barkley over Delph anyday of the week, but he won't come here
Bill! he'd struggle in the woman's team to get picked.
True mate. We're blessed with top class midfielders. Just think a young English skilfull player like him could do a job for us. Do we still need to fill our homegrown quota for next year with hart and delph gone ?
I think hes the english player whos created the most chances. its a no brainer for me. apparently spurs see him as a dembele like player and i think he'd be awesome in that role. yaya and fern are getting older and we can't rely on them and gundogan is always injured. for 20m its a no brainer for me. young, enlglish players with lots of potential.
He always skirts birds in Mansion, regardless of whether they have a fella or not. Just so happens this time he'd skirted the missus of one of the local lads, and he obviously wasn't going to have it.I'd take him here if he came knowing he'd rotate and do whatever Pep asked of him, including learning a new position. The lad has, imo, the physical tools to be a success.
I'd like to see him, as a young above average English player, succeed. Could part of Koeman wanting rid of him be his away from football lifestyle? The being chinned in the pub/club incident? (Not saying it's his fault. I don't know if it was or wasn't but the putting himself in a bad situation aspect.)
Its a bit like Sanchez he can walk in a year for nothing, he will go for less than his apparent market value I suspect. Everton are apparently currently asking £50M I would be surprised if he goes for more than £30M and possibly a fair bit less. If a club agrees terms with his agent they can offer a low number and Barkley can refuse terms at any club that offers a higher figure. Barkley is in the driving seat providing he is wanted.Wherever did you get that price? You think Everton would let him go for that?
