Ruben Dias: “My specific message to our fans is this – more than ever, BLOCK OUT THE NOISE. Protect their house and protect their players. WE CAN GO AGAINST THE WORLD, if we have to, we are fighting for the same team, same club, the same project and the same dream. As long as WE STICK TOGETHER, we will always find a way through because everything turns in the end and THE LIGHT SHINES THROUGH!”

Big sod off and grow some the city-fan flappers and giver uppers. Support your club. Get behind them
I think most fans are behind the team mate and if they're not then they aren't worth bothering about. However, there's no real correlation between all these attempts to galvanised the fans and what happens on the pitch. The players need to do the business.

And they will if we are supporting them and getting behind them.

If you are saying the players need to do the business before getting behind them, then that's the opposite of what dias is saying.

Did he shout those parts in capitals?

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying there's no discernible connection between what the fans are being asked to do and the result on the pitch. Players lift the fans and vice versa, but there's tons of other things that will affect performances/ results before this. It's nice to hear these words from Ruben but that's really all they are, just words.

For me it's a call to arms sort of thing... 'let's all move in the same direction and we will all get there' bollocks. But I like that sort of thing where fans and players are together

It's the right way, even in the tough times. If only it was as easy as us getting behind the team to get a result, lol.
