Just looking for some help. I have been trying to find something for my 3 1/2 yr old son to train in. I am looking for either rugby or football or similar. Can't find anything for his age in my area which is Salford.

Any ideas?

Try the park, a football and two jumpers. 3 1/2 seems a tad young for any structured coaching/training. If my experience of kids that age is anything to go by, he'll be more interested in the fruit shoot drink they give him afterwards than any training exercises. And if you do find anywhere, think about who's benefit it is really for.

Wasn't thinking about getting him into a team or anything, just something that is fun, football tots or something like that. We do go to the park quite often but this was more for maybe a daytime activity.

My lad goes here - the one who runs it all is an ex LA Galaxy kids coach and they way he works is miles better than any of the others I've seen.

It's only £4 so it's got to be worth a try.
