Pinto’s written statement.Says he was never paid by anybody.
Doesn’t mention that’s only because the people he tried to blackmail wouldn’t pay up...

What has been published in the last 12 months in the overseas media suggests the authorities have overwelming evidence against him. He was reportedly caught bang to rights in an undercover operation. He will have to do a lot better than this.

spanishblue that wouldn't surprise me at all. If we didn't agree to his demands. That is if he made any. What would be interesting is what and if anything he found out about the G13 group of clubs.

Appreciate he has done a plea bargain where he’s giving the Portuguese authorities all his hacked material in exchange for a ‘sweetheart deal’ sentence, a new identity and witness relocation

It seems like he only tried blackmailing one club and his attempted extortion failed.
He was undergoing extradition, so in an attempt to "get off" he released all his stolen information as football leaks and claimed he was working for the good of football and in fact was a whistleblower

Just banged one in myself, what's the betting we get the same glib 'it's just background information' email back?

Well the BBC - even when banged to rights - never ever admit guilt - so you know you'll be fobbed off.

A far cry from the 'Robin Hood' depiction in the UK media... good old Pinto - wronging rights and fighting the 'crusade' of truth and justice.

Will anything that he has hacked be given as evidence against him during his trail. If not why not. Now this would be interesting to see what dirt he has hacked from either clubs or certain individuals from any football organisation.
