Rule changes you'd like to see for 18/19 season

Referees and linos that have a bad first half should be subbed off at half time.

It would be much more entertaining if they were subbed when the game was going on.

Anyone caught clearly diving by the ref or retrospectively gets a 10 match ban. Who would do it then ?

Simple one: the substitute coming on doesn’t have to wait until the player he is replacing has left the pitch before he is allowed on.

As soon as the game stops the substitute comes on and the player he’s replacing leaves the pitch at shortest possible point and walks round the touch line to the bench.

I fucking hate substitutions.

And also - show all goals on the big screen. By not showing any goals that are contentious you are effectively telling the whole stadium that it is contentious. Pointless and irritating.

Nothing really. I'd just like to see the current rules applied fairly and competently.

Red card for studs up challenges on our players for a start.

The stupid rule that there can be no retrospective action if the ref shows a yellow card. I'm certain some of them bottle red cards knowing full well that they won't be judged on it Monday morning.

It should be a foul against a player (normally a defender) who shields the ball and makes no attempt to keep the ball in play, whilst simultaneously preventing an opposing player (through shielding the ball) from trying to keep the ball in play.

Oh yeah, forgot about this one. Should be obstruction. Although it would have ruined that great fun our players had at the end of the derby.
