Running thread

Actually that's a good point about the race day boost. Similar to wearing my best race shoes.

Any suggestions on which hydration packs are the best please?
I got a saloman adv skin one off amazon when they did their sale a few weeks back, not ran in it yet but it's very light, I would day your better off waiting for black Friday now though as there will be bargains to be had

Decent sale on asics outlet today, "super Thursday" you buy one you get one half price, I say you buy one yer get one......
10% off on top of that if you join their bullshit "we gonna email you to death club" as well.
I just bought a pair of novablast2 and a pair of trabuco terra's for just over £100. Pretty good deal if anyone's shopping

Thanks for the heads up, I think I need a few bits so that might be useful.

I bought the Novablast 3 last month and they've been great.

Might look at the 2s as I need some rotation pairs. Only concern is I think they're narrower than the 3s and that might be an issue for me.

That's the kicker with this running malarkey, there's always something new to buy!! Cheap hobby they said, all you need is a pair of shorts and some trainers they said!!
Thats all i bought during lockdown ,running gear and online beer :)

Not looked at my Garmin app for 3 weeks, went to add hydration and noticed I can now add details of my period and how I feel during my cycle

Funnily enough I had to trawl through my bank statements today as my accountant have asked me have I any more expenses to add, every outlay is just running gear and beer, the Mrs and kids have taken the rest!!!
A bit like me. I don't buy much running kit, preferring to stick with tatty sweaty old black rags that stink. But I spent a fair bit on cycling recently....now that can be expensive. Offset only by commuting on two wheels instead of driving.

That's more like it. Cross training on the bike is part of my routine too.

Edit. Wait. I think you mean menstrual cycle? Not bicycle?
