5 miles this morning before work
Well done OB. Your running inpires me. I've recovered from a virtually three month injury lay off, and doing the odd 5km to build up my stamina and fitness again.

I've just finished my latest 5km in and around Russell Square, London, whilst on a short break. That's after walking about 15km earlier today. 28:50, with my heart rate up in zone 5 for 25% and zone 4 for 67%. Hard work, but great to be back out again.

Thanks mate, hope you're back to full fitness soon

Did Bramhall this morning. My first park run for a couple of months due to hip and knee pain from a bad bike set up. Went round in under 25 minutes. I’ll take that. They’ve got the pacers running next week so might see if I can go round with the 24 pacer.

Peel Parkrun in Salford completed in 29:29 this morning which was a course PB. All fuelled by last night's fish & chips and banana custard.
It woz the magic custard that did it, no doubt ;-)
Well done pal - you breaking the 30mins barrier regularly or occasionally?
I’ve done lots of different courses and the variations in my times is amazing. (Lyme Park for example, an absolute write-off time-wise!!)

Anyway, all the best with it.

Only managed to break the 30 minute barrier in November. I've now done it 3 Parkruns in a row so at last starting to be a bit more consistent.
The trickiest course for me was Sale Water Park. Was a bloody horrible surface to run on akin to skree.
The easiest is my local one in Stafford which is a flat out & back on a disused railway track

Oh yes, you’re not wrong; Issy trail is up there amongst the fastest courses I’ve ever run on.
And it’s an I if you’re alphabet chasing ;-)
