Russia detects possible signal from "sun like star"

I'm starting to become a little more Agnostic as I get older, after all you can't prove there isn't a God anymore than you can prove there is

If there is, in the words of Woody Allen, he may not actually be evil but the best we can say is that he's an underachiever.

You a scientist?...fair play to ya.
Again, a supposition that I am a christian. What THe Fuck?

If you're not a Christian and it doesn't come from the holy fables do you mind if I ask where did your faith come from?

Apologies for assuming you were of the three main faiths.

I never said either of those things did I?
Pardon me. All religions began with 'naive bronze age Palestinian peasants' did they. I stand corrected.
As for scientist, your incredulity at being called a neo, begged the question.

I can't prove Santa doesn't and you can't prove the Nympho God of love doesn't visit me every night with her sister.

Things aren't given equal status because you can't prove them. Evidence, plausibility, that stuff does.

You said as I get older.

Are you starting to hedge your bets? :)

Haha maybe ;-)

I still think that a God is 'highly unlikely' but have to cede that it is still possible that we had a creator, whether god or alien race...maybe i'm just going a bit David Icke hahaha

This was difficult for me to explain away when I was young.

If God is able to prevent evil, but not willing?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

-Epicurus, 341 BC, Samos – 270 BC, Athens

Still is.

No they didn't, but more than Christianity certainly did. I apologise if you're not a monotheist but given the way you've posted I doubt you're a deist or a polytheist.

Not a single thing I said insinuated I was a scientist or that me questioning your shite term was being taken as personal to me. Just for the record your use of the term "Neo-Scientist" as a negative to the people trying to find out the truth in the universe is so laughable, it's the essence of ignorance.
