Would you have a link to that pod?I was listening to the NY daily podcast about Zelensky and one of the things they said is that when he launched his bid for president he barely campaigned in person at all. His whole strategy was on the internet, leaning into his roots as a comedian, taking the piss out of the old style of politicians in the country and talking to people vis social media.
He's just carried this on through a war. Challenging Putin to face to face talks, this microphone joke, the pictures of him on a small table with soldiers after Putin was on his giant table, making a video on the spot showing him in Ukraine every time the Kremlin tries to spread a rumour he's left.
It's really set the tone for the whole Ukrainian response, the memes about farmers selling tanks, fuck you russian warship etc.

What do we make of Putin's meeting with the Israeli pm? I'm hoping some sense was talked and there may be mediation / a face saving way of backing down for Putin - or they may just have been swapping notes about annexing chunks of the neighbors back yard....

Seems Visa have copped out, MasterCard haven't. Hopefully a bit of outrage should push Visa towards matching their rival.

Call my cynical, but it seems to be a PR stunt of "look, we're doing something", without actually doing anything.Ah, that makes it a whole lot less significant.
Nearly as shit as the German stingers being useless. Such a shame as forcing the fuckers into a cash society whilst there’s runs on the banks would have really have expedited the sanctions hitting home.Ah, that makes it a whole lot less significant.

Fair play, I've had a couple tonight so assumed it was the same for both.
