Interestingly, there is a large push for policing what is going on by Airborne Early Warning (AEW) along the borders of Ukraine, ie in the Black Sea, just outside russian waters, Romania, Hungary, Poland, as well as the Baltic States (for kalliningrad), by various air forces, and the other day the Swedes (not air force interestingly) were also part of the patrolling action.

Fighter jets are also airborne pretty much 24/7 (generally unseen on available radar coverage), supported by tankers from various air forces (usually visible), the tankers wouldn't be there if not supporting fighter jets, so see them or not, they are there.

I get it, mate. The problem is that they’ve been spending too much time dealing with refusing entry rather than actually dealing with those that should be permitted. Problem is, the government are putting bars on those that should be permitted which then puts more bureaucracy in the way.

No issues from me with those that are trying to work, it’s those who are making the regulations overly difficult that have turned us into a world embarrassment.

There's little doubt it's a PR stunt (he'll be badly missing his nice life in the west), but he was personally asked by Zelensky early on in the war, so it is possible he does want to have a part in it stopping, but I highly doubt it's for anything than personal reasons.

I work for HM Govt as well and suspect their IT system is as utterly useless as ours -on top of that you have unprecedented numbers of people literally invading this Country via boats from across the Channel to a degree not seen since 1066 on top of all those applying to Legally enter -No wonder they are overwhelmed.
