• Ukraine claims Russia has lost 17,500 troops during the invasion so far;
• There have been 14 additions to the UK's sanctions list;
• Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke to the Australian and Dutch parliaments;
• A convoy of buses was sent out to trapped civilians in Mariupol;
• Russian forces are continuing to shell Chernihiv despite promises to scale back its military operation;
• A military base in the Dnipro region of Ukraine was hit, according to the local governor;
• Ukrainian prosecutor general Iryna Venediktova said more than 380 children had been killed or injured in Ukraine after Russian troops invaded;
• Head of GCHQ said Vladimir Putin "misjudged" the capabilities of his military;
• The UK has donated 5.29 million medical items to Ukraine since Russian forces first invaded the country on 24 February;
• Four million people have fled Ukraine since the war with Russia erupted, according to the latest UN Refugee Agency data

Media are saying Putin is living in a Nuclear bunker. And his generals are keeping the truth of Russian military incompetence and humiliation in Ukraine from him.

I figure it does not bode well when he eventually finds out the truth.

There is a School of thought out there, that the whole thing is an elaborate charade to precipitate full on global economic collapse and usher in a New World Order.

I have an open mind on it all.

As should everyone else.

Strange times we live in Pandemics, living under the threat of being Flash Fried etc.

My point is there hardly seems any real intent to compromise and deescalate on both sides (US + Russia) does there ?

Hence why i am open minded of the motives of both Russia and United States.
