Russian invasion of Ukraine

With the increased exposure to the mass murder/genocide being there for the whole world to see, surely now is the time for the likes of China and India to robustly denounce that Cnut in the Kremlin.
Hmmm

India has really surprised me.

I considered them neutral to slightly western aligned.

Every post on social media is bombarded with Indian posters on Russia’s side, the government has done more for Russia than anyone else, even China.

Looking at his record, I guess the Indian PM, Modi, is a believer in the "strong man" version of politics.

Just seen a video of dead a family in a car who the Russians had massacred, they’d taken the head of the grandmother leaving the body in the car. Miraculously one of the family survived and had been taken to treat her wounds.
Psychological wounds will take some time to heal if ever

He's got what he wanted. A like from the contrarian-in-chief and a load of responses that reinforce his opinion of himself as being "edgy".
Always thought he was edgc extremely daft goofy ****. He is the original ignore button for me and that was years ago. You just have to accept you can’t argue or reason with a stupid person when they have so much experience of operating at that level.

In theory, if the Russians have shat themselves and are now deserting their previously captured ground in the north, will this free up more Ukrainian troops to head south and launch attacks to try and split the Russian-held south coast? Surround the fuckers and push them back into the sea!?

possibly, but as it’s the border between Russia (and their lackey Belarus), they’ll need to maintain some large presence there. Though with the intelligence being supplied by the west, it’s doubtful the Russians could mount a reasonable re-invasion without Ukraine knowing well beforehand.

russian army and doctrine, is generally artillery led, for offensive and defensive IIRC, so the south and east could be a hard nut to crack, if the Russians have dug in. Ukraine has plenty of anti vehicle stuff, and anti aircraft, but as they go on the offensive, they’ll need considerably more long range targeting equipment to take out dug in artillery.

Longer this goes on I wonder if most Russians truly believe this shit
The middle-aged Russian men interviewed on BBC were full of the bog standard vitriolic propaganda. The subtitles were like standard comments we see from posters on here, living comfy City middle class lives in leafy suburbs to the south of Manchester.

The disproportionate publicity given to these misguided idiots shows Germany in a bad light and it is quite wrong.
The ring leaders should be arrested and charged over it. (A charge of outraging public decency or similar perhaps?)

Can't agree - not allowing people to demonstrate their views, especially when in a minority, without being arrested is exactly what is wrong with Russia, and how that sort of society ends up committing the appalling acts we see in Ukraine.
