As an aside, there is some scientific shit in the Russian propaganda on their Posiden weapon. For a start, you can't generate a wave higher than the depth of the water that it will detonate in.
For another the amount of energy needed to create a very big tusami is phenomenal. Even a weapon 4 times bigger than the Tsar bomba (which is what it is supposed to be in scale) would struggle to generate a massive wave and it would dissipate fairly quickly.

It’s being totally rubbished on the RTE news. They have no such weapons capable of doing what the Russian news station was proposing.
They’ve pissed off our government though and will be fearing our backlash I’m sure.
The Russian ambassador has been summoned by Michael Martin and he’s going to give him a telling off.

That should do it.

Seriously though, official calls for an apology to be issued by the station and if not the expulsion of the ambassador is what is being called for in the Dail.

If Russia actually did give it a go though I’d imagine the surfing off Donegal and Sligo would be mega.

Maybe it’s how the conflict is going now and the Russians don’t want their planes in the sky. It normally flies round the border of Moldova, Romania and Poland, there’s a Global Hawk up there doing laps of the Black Sea as well.
