A bit crackers that, no doubt politically motivated given he was about to move to America.

I don’t think the devolved governments oppose arming the Ukrainians, Their objection is that the money is being taken from their devolved budgets for the purposes of foreign aid and defence. Those matters are reserved to Westminster, not devolved, so they argue that any money should thus come from the U.K. pot, which is usually what happens.

Whilst I agree about it being effective, taking out as many soldiers as possible is still good, it also reduces their moral, and effectiveness.

Yeah....I like watching those Ukrainian drones dropping grenades on the russians, especially the one having a crap and the one where 2 run separate ways, he should have followed his mate.

There is no point in concentrating on killing Russian soldiers, there are simply too many of them. This latest tactic of taking out munitions and supply lines is far more effective. Starve the soldiers of what they need to fight..

That’s political not for this thread on Ukraine because defence of the UK is for us all. We are probably discussing the same point of view

By that logic the DOD should close all bases and manufacturers in devolved areas, not fair on the DOD to fund all those non English jobs.

On a serious note the govs should have been consulted 1st.
