This would be a great success for Putin in creating a "second hybrid front in Europe."Putin would like to turn the Balkans region into a pro-Russian "bridgehead" to destabilize Europe.Russian propaganda in the region, particularly in Serbia, plays an important role in this. Russian propaganda supports the so-called "Serbian world", similar to the "Russian world". They aim to strengthen Serbian nationalist, revanchist sentiments. Moreover, they repeat that in Ukraine, Russia is at war with the United States and NATO.In Serbia, Russia Today and Sputnik are broadcast in Serbian.If Russia succeeds in Ukraine, destabilization in the region is not excluded.
