Sorry in whose demented head does this make any sense ?

Stop sending our weapons to foreign countries, we are going to need them to defend ourselves if this escalates out of control.

Why did we bother a few weeks ago remembering those who died fighting Nazism in World War Two ?

And Nerve agents and the defenistration/descalation of exiled Oligarchs at their homes in the UK.

That must be the minimum. BUT would NATO be prepared to fight a restocked, refreshed Russian army. I cannot see how Zelensky could be persuaded that will happen and I doubt Nato would want to fight Russia.
It brings back the threat of nuclear war.
Therefore I cannot see how peace can be obtained by negotiation.

It’s the least worst option available and (fwiw) I don’t think Russia would try it again if what remained of Ukraine was part of NATO.

I think we would also owe what’s left of Ukraine a debt that extended to huge economic support. This would help stabilise the country and accentuate the contrast with the regions that Russia had stolen that were forced to live under its shitty and tedious regime.

It’s not what any reasonable person would have wanted but, as I said, it may be the least worst option, given the likely realities of the incumbent presidency.

Just because a Russian minister says so, doesn't make it true. He wouldn't answer the question of how this is different to China/ North Korea arms and troops / Iran supplying weapons. He is just reading off a script.
You really need to give your head a wobble and stop believing everything Russia says.

Not the propaganda spewed out by Ukraine and the mainstream media in this country (BBC Verify is unbelievably bad).
The history of this conflict goes back much further than the day the Russians crossed the border.

I have no problem accepting your opinion is different to mine so you believe what you want.
However you might change your views if you looked into the background to the conflict yourself.
