A winger isn't required when you have no-one to whip crosses too. They add an extra dimension yes but Johnson has been effective in only a handful of games this season. If you look at all the top sides in Europe, none of them have wingers, it's too predictable.

I love Dzeko and would love to see him prosper here with us. But I fear our system, if it wont change, won't really ever give Edin the chance to show what he can.
He would probably be happier in BM and would never blame him for leaving us should that happen.

It is probably false. But the thought process that led to the idea of making this us makes sense. Great player in Bundesliga not getting enough time and highlights after moving to England. Best team in Germany comes in to save him and bring him back to his glory days. Just like they did before.
