We're not likely to get anything at Anfield even with 'new manager syndrome'.

We need to save that wildcard for a game we're likely to win, eg West Ham away.

I'm laughing as I post this - I see 'new manager syndrome' as our only chance of 3 points away from home this season!

Sack him the week before the Rags then, Fuck West Ham.

*tin hat on* Don't sack him at all. I mean, results like this were bound to happen at some point and we might as well look forward to our next game, yes we were dire and had no heart, but these players need time to gel. IMO, each player are playing as individuals and not as a team, so i say we use the youth team and give the 'usual' players a break i.e. robinho, that WILL make him think, and hopefully work harder. it's clear to me that the youth players want to play (wiess, logan, evans) so we should give these a chance, we've got nothing to lose. as for MH, see where we are at the end of the season i say.

"we were dire and had no heart" - you are so right here. Just look at Coventry and Swansea today - showed heart and passion against superior competition - that is the thing that we sadly lack. We have no shortage of talent - just a shortage of ambition.

How many matches this season where realistically we should have extracted something? A point, three points, a goal even. There have been too many reverses against mediocre teams. Hughes' task as I saw it from the appointment was that these matches would be few and far between! Mind you, I think I have just had a Saul on the road to Damascus moment . . . . . . . . . . . .

Are we a mediocre team?

Hmmm I think we may be :-(

With the players we have, there is no way that we should be sitting in 9th position, with only 1 away win in the league, that is terrible.

In all fairness, How many times have we said this season that 'Our players are showing no heart'? To many times for my liking.
