Indeed you also have my sincerest condolences, i have still to lose anyone important to me and i won't lie, it is the only thing that terrifies me rigid. Life, it is precious beyond measure.

Brought a tear to my eye that mate, it’s no age these days. I was talking to my mate on Sunday, he’s 63 and retired after a successful career he said he would give everything up he owns to be 30 again, his exact words “it’s shit growing old”. Sadly your pal has had his life cut cruelly short, I feel your pain, you have obviously lost a great mate. RIP

Nicely written tribute mate. My best pal and I go back 54 years,never had a cross word, including lots of time and miles spent touring.If he goes first I will have a huge gap in my life and I know he feels the same.However, beautiful feeling to know you have had someone like that in your life.

Nicely composed tribute to a lifelong friend and a blue to boot , give him a good send off and cherish the memories , always feel when people die before their time its so cruel but it appears your friend packed a lot into his 52 years , and a small consolation is that he witnessed our recent period of success before his passing , my sympathies to you and your best friends family
