Safe Standing: Rail Seating in South Stand

We'd like to - but we get loads of complaints about it. People go into 115 (the singing section) and complain about fans singing and waving flags!!

I'd like to say it's day-trippers and so on, but it's genuinely season ticket holders who we see week in week out.

Looking at moving to the safe standing with my m8 and the 2 teenagers
My m8 seems to think that you can just go and stand where ever you want and has said just get 4 where ever you want .
I’d be surprised if that was the case and expect that you’re got to stand in your allocated section .. can anyone let us know what it’s like in there re standing where ever you want .. and is there standing on level 2 at all

no standing wherever you want although some do double up and no standing on level 2 also impossible to get season tickets on level 1 south stand anyway

Safe standing is only in level 1 of the south stand and the corners at that end.

You can’t stand where you want and are allocated a “seat” just as you are when buying tickets in other areas of the stadium.

Of course you will get some fans who try and stand near their friends despite not having a ticket allocated near them but this isn’t something which most people do.

You can't technically stand where you want but a very large portion of ssl1 do just group up. Seats don't change hands much in these parts so the grouping up has unofficially become their seats over the years. Not sure you'll be able to get 4 seats in level 1 anyway but assuming you can, If you try getting 4 new people in one seat, it's going to be pot luck as to whether you find an area that's slightly less packed or whether you're going to be trying to squeeze into an area that doesn't have the space for it. People are generally tolerant of others grouping but if you start taking the piss getting 4 in 1 seat and you're a newbie you might not have much luck.

i wanted to do this with my lad and there are tickets about but its almost doubling the price from my seat at the back of ss3....and would be sat in the front 3 or 4 rows :(
