"A Bill to Give all football clubs the freedom to build, or maintain existing, safe standing sections in their stadia if they choose; to establish minimum safety criteria that must be met for standing sections in football stadia; and for connected purposes":

Great news imo. Hope it get passed. Be good to see if we could be a pioneer for the Premiership too.

Really hope it goes through, especially with us no doubt looking to expand the stadium in the future.

Brilliant news, just hope it isn't hampered by HFG (understandable) but on the continent it happens so hope it is introduced. Be good PR for City if we were first team in PL to announce we were doing it. Could be done as early as next season.

would love them to turn the whole bottom tier of the south stand to standing like the stand in dortmund :)

did't nick clegg back this before the election it would be nice if a few mp's are behind this

A few do, it's an MP who has pushed this into parliament's attention.

David Cameron was standing at the Spurs game the other day lol
