I know we have some rugby fans who frequent this forum so is there any other Sale fans where we can keep a thread going as to the current plight of the sharks.

What a season we are having, could we sneak into the top 4 I wonder?

Danny Cipriani can't be far away from an England call up surely either, he has all the tools to be the best fly half in the country and finally seems to have his head fully on the game.

Bath away next but with the team spirit we have managed to garner anything is possible, we have some top young English players and the likes of Braid and Paterson are warriors.

Tell us where, when and how much it would cost us to see them. I would consider going every now and then. Maybe others would too.

AJ Bell Stadium / £15 - £45 depending if you want to stand or not. Buy before matchday for cheaper tickets / Mostly Friday's

Get back to Stockport then the crowds will return, plenty of good pubs in the town, decent transport links, come on tell me it was a good idea to move.

Used to be a season ticket holder when a certain French man played for them

I enjoyed Edgeley Park - good atmosphere before and after the game.

After the trauma of the last 2 seasons this year has been a revelation. A top 6 finish would be fantastic.

But they need to play at a new ground.

Shame they didn't move to Maine Road.

How is Dwayne Peel playing nowadays? Class act in his day.

Peel is having his best season since joining the club, he still has pace to burn and his breaks at the weekend helped secure a huge victory. He has decided to chase the money and join Bristol in the summer which is a shame but a good servant none the less.

Agreed about the stadium comments, getting to the ground is a nightmare with the lack of parking and congestion due to the trafford centre. Supposedly they did consider the little COMS stadium as an alternative along with a few other places.

Should have had many more caps than he did, his service was so much better than thay lid Mike Phillips and I think Wales play better with that, as Rhys Webb showed when he got a game. Cant remember the name of the scrum half who came before him, think he played for Cardiff, but he took that annoying step before passing as well. Peel should have played instead of him too.

Can't see Cipriani getting back in the England squad myself. Farrell's done a very good job and level headed youngsters like Ford and Burns are being given opportunities to gain experience. Were Cipriani's profile to be raised again by another international call up, who's to say he wouldn't turn back into the hot shot megastar that he is in his head once more?
