Salty reactions from other fans and the media

You would have loved being a City fan back in the 70s and early 80s.
Having to stick up for yourself and your mates and football team was de riguer in those days. You either had to be a good fighter or a good runner. Or preferably both.
Haha...I'm 52, mate...I've been through all that!
The club really do need to make an example of one of these "journos"...and not just threats.

Not been a bad week has it

Exonerated at CAS
Salty tears everywhere
Martin Samuel giving most journalists a lesson in how to write a fair and balanced report of the CAS outcome
Southampton get a late equiliser at the swamp
Scousers get beat
We win
Khaldoon showing his class yet again by contacting Cefferin to repair relationships with UEFA
All that's needed now is Tebas getting a letter from our Solicitor(s)

Let's not be fooled into thinking that FFP was brought in to even the playing field - It's intended to cement the elite clubs in place and leave all the other clubs out in the cold without resources to present any sort of challenge. Luckily for City, the door was slammed closed as soon as they snuck in. It's not possible for a club to grow organically if they cannot invest further to compete, while it's best players are being poached.

On the whole cheating thing, UEFA charged city with hiding or altering revenue hence the hefty ban - CAS ruled them not guilty of that so no punishment applicable. They agreed that they were un-cooperative with UEFA's investigation which is what the fine was for but I don't understand how people are saying they should receive full punishment even though they've been judged by an independent body as being found not guilty. CAS have clearly said that they haven't cheated FFP - now I know that's disappointing, and believe me I was disappointed, but it's there in black and white.

The fact you say with some sort of certainty that they have "very clearly financially doped and contrived numbers" is ridiculous unless you have exclusive access to there sponsorship agreements/finances.

Do I think City's owners are squeaky clean? No, not at all but I'm also not naïve enough to think that the glazers or any other owners are either. I'm pretty confident that there's only a handful of rich owners that have made there money in a morally ethical way.

An intelligent rag with common sense? Didn't think that was possible tbh.

I have a confession - I hacked their site and wrote that.

I am not smart enough to understand all the ins and outs, I am just your average bloke. But it puzzles me just how many thick people are out there from fans to journalist to managers to pundits.
It's really simple CAS have said City didn't cheat ffp. The charges by UEFA didnt have any evidence. The 9 millions fine is for not cooperating with a bent organisation.

It's so simple I dont understand how so many people in better paid jobs than me like maureen, and klopp dont understand what they are being told.

As others have said it's like being charged with murder but you have a scrap with the police officer who arrests you because you know you are innocent. The judge says you are innocent of murder and free to go BUT fine £50 for scrapping with the police officer.

Some press/media organisations need to be looking at how think their journalist are and sacking them.

You are giving those managers too much credit, they are their respective clubs mouthpiece and the therefore want our name dragged through the mud at every opportunity, Klopp is generally respected by non-Livarpool fans but it’s obvious he’s peddling the party line for his paymasters.

He shifted uncomfortably in his seat when the journo mentioned Bayern’s dominance. He looked a right tit!
