samir nasri

I don't do twitter but apparently Samir tweeted that that was the best atmosphere he has witnessed in England.

As well as the undoubted ability,i saw a more industrious/committed Nasri last night, like he's found a pair.

Great performance.

Any one from Barry , Yaya , Zabaleta , Nasri , Lescott , Kompany or Aguero could easily have picked up our man of the match award last night ..... and it was great to see so many players playing well.

That's what we'll need at Newcastle .... players playing well again!

What are peoples thoughts on him at the moment, hes had poor to average season he really needs to get some consistency in his performances. Next season could be make or break for him.

I disagree - think he has improved over the season, also he is near the top of pass completed % - he doesnt give it away which is crucial to the way we play. Very glad to have him and so glad he has been proved correct (along with Barry, Lescott and all the others that moved just for the money)

For 25 mill I expected more I hope this season was just a settling in year.

I have to say I'm not his biggest fan but he has genuine ability - I think he needs to believe that he deserves to be in our team and play like he did against spuds. I think he will get there.

I watched the ESPN season review last night, and it intervewed him on his move at the begining of the season. He was asked why he moved from Arsenal and he said 'people have said things about that - just ask me again at the end of the season and I'll tell you' - anyone who moves from Arsenal and gets the stick that they give ex players deserve to win something.

He has got better over the last few weeks, but he still has a way to go to show he's worth the price we paid for him and hopefully there is a lot more to come from him next season.

Played his part in our title win though, especially with that goal against Chelsea, what a big moment that was, well done to him for that.

Its started to sink in that at City he has to perform at a much higher level than he did for Arsenal for the full 90 minutes of every game. He was a bit of an unsung hero the last few weeks, a bit like Gareth Barry is defensively. I think he picked up Silva's mantle while he was struggling and that we're going to see the best of him next season.
