I don't get your point here. Are you trying to say that Mata didn't succeed last season in the prem? Because I thought he was excellent.
 
yes i am , i dont think mata was excellent at all, i think he was solid but given that most people saying he was better than silva and we missed a trick by not signing him no i dont think he was good at all and given that chelski have signed 3 new attacking mids im not sure they thought he was either.

im having an opinion m8 and yes he was chelsea player of the season and look where they finished in the league, take out the cl success because their defence won them that.

He was player of the season in a team that failed to make the cl places its hardly an indication of a wonderful player in a great team is it?

No, it's an indication of a good player in a bad team.
 
or an indication of the best of a bad bunch, im not saying he isnt a good player just saying not as good as he was made out to be and this may or not be the case with cazorla

He wasn't that good though. Stats may suggest otherwise but there were many games where he just went totally missing. Not gonna judge him on that though because a lot of players seem to struggle in their first seasons.
 
So do you also think Silva had a not so good first season too?

Mata deserves more credit, did really well in his first season.

Yeah... just like how Silva shined in all 49 games he's played last season eh?

All players have games where they go missing mate.
 
Mata had a great first season, but Silva is the better player. Cazorla's a better player than Mata, fantastic signing for Arsenal.

What that indicates is that Mata shoots more often, but with 6 goals to Silva's 4, he doesn't really get the rewards. It also indicates Chelsea as a side, and Mata as a player, cross the ball far more often and that Mata took far more set pieces. Silvas was the better player in terms of open play for passing and chances created, oh yeah and Mata was a fucking liability defensively!
 
This is a damn shame, because he could be fantastic for them. Can't understand why no one else was really linked with him. Every top club should have a tiny spanish wizard if they want to be taken seriously..

Fair play.

Corzola was one of the best La Liga players last terma and Sahin was best German player before his Real move.

Good bit of business for anyone and in particularly Arsenal who need replace Nasri and Fabregas. Not keen on Ramsey since that bad injury as bad as that sounds. I think your midfield looks pretty good now and some real quality there.

From a neutrals point of viww regarding RVP (if I put the possibility of us signing RVP aside) I reckon he should stay. He asked for additions and quality ones at that. You have signed a Podolski, Giroud, Corzola and possibly Sahin. Arsenal imo have kept their end of the argument and now it's RVP.

When everyone is fit and healthy again at Arsenal I see a good squad there.

(Replace RVP for Giroud if he leaves, still a good side.)

With Podolski occupying second striker role and Corzola filling. Then you have Wilshere to come back too, so when Sahin goes back Wilshere takes the position.
